I decided that I was nothing to the body of Christ and had no purpose there. I love the Lord, and my ministry has been to Him. Lately I have felt numb and have lost my fire, deciding that this is all that my life is.... staying home and within the safety of my family. UNTIL I started searching your site and I listened to this introduction!
Just in hearing the Introduction, something has started coming alive in me again, and I remembered the cries of my heart "Does not the BRIDE LONG FOR her BRIDEGROOM?" My forgotten cry was for the Bride of Christ to fall in love with her Bridgroom, Jesus. I remembered my desire to bring the wounded to the feet of Jesus through worship, to recieve healing and His love, and to experience His presence. And the cry was for FREEDOM for the abused. And these remembrances came as an immediate result of listening to this introduction!!!!
Seven years ago, I remember seeing a huge cross coming towards me, becoming smaller and smaller, until the hand of the Lord placed it upon my heart. He asked if I would bring the message of the cross to the nations, and I said "Yes Lord, but I don't know how! I don't know what that means!" Then I watched myself climb up to a mountain top, carrying a large cross again, and in struggling to the top, looking for someone to be there, to dig a hole so that I could put the cross into it, to stand it up in the ground, but there was no one there and the Lord spoke again, saying "Don't put the cross down Judy! NEVER lay down the cross!" I physically got off the floor and went to the world maps on the wall of the church, and spread my arms across the maps, weeping and praying. And then as His presence began to lift, I went home, was re-injured, and have been home for most of 7 years. Wow. I am now thinking that my life is not over, and perhaps there IS a purpose to fulfill.
If just this little INTRODUCTION can begin the passion to stir once again in my heart, then all I know is your ministry is LIFE GIVING to us who have gone into isolation, and to those of us who have decided that the church is far too painful to be a part of.
I am feeling an excitement of finding out who God created me to be, and I know that it will be through your ministry of life. I will be 60 years old this month. That is SO OLD! But the Lord has been mysteriously, and by Himself, healing a neck injury that has kept me bedridden for much of the last 13 years. I am sending for Collette's book about the Prophetic, because I think I am. And thank you for your availability on the internet!
